I really like the shows on BRAVO. Yes, I watch Project Runway (insert joke here). I think Heidi and Tim really make the show. And last night, I found out not only is Top Chef coming back, but so is Work Out!! Awesome!!
I much prefer to watch “reality” television over the crap that’s being aired on network television. I don’t think I watch any shows on those channels anymore. But I do watch other shows on other channels, just more from cable programming.
If I want humor and to laugh my ass off, I’d watch Comedy Central. They’ve got some incredibly hilarious comedians (like the guy who does the puppets, and the large Hispanic comedian who calls himself “fluffy”).
Love Cathy Griffin, even though with each season, it becomes less “real” and more scripted. She finds more ways to be over-the-top, and of course she’s no longer on hte D-List, hasn’t been for a while now. I just want to see what her relationship is like with the multi-billionaire she has now for a boyfriend.
I miss Dog the Bounty Hunter. He’s this massive tank of a person, who seems to be forever locked in “Metal Grunge”. He’s got a tough-as-nails demeanor with this soft maiden heart. He’d pummel you to the ground in order to arrest you, and then become your personal counselor as his team whisks you off to jail. By the time the criminal gets to jail, he/she has a change of heart, and Dog will likely give you a Biblical quote. And of course there’s Beth. Sometimes I wonder who is the tougher of the two.
Of course, there’s The Girls Next Door. Come on, it’s about three blond Playmates who have shacked up with Hugh. Each of the girls represents an aspect of femininity that a guy looks for. Holly, the boss, intelligent and cunning (she’s managed to snag Hugh). Bridget, soft and nurturing. Kendra, sporty and fun. Not to mention all three are incredibly beautiful and ready to drop dress and panties at every opportunity. It’s just a whole lot of fun to watch.
I’m sure I’m forgetting to list other shows that I watch, but these currently jump into mind. I think I’m a reality-show junkie. I wonder if there’s a support group for this.
